The idea at the heart of creating great photographs of children and their families is to allow kids to be kids. Children are always beautiful; when they sleep, cry, smile, laugh, or play, when they are tired, or want to be picked up, or even when they have too much energy. Kids are expressive and dynamic because they are always searching, learning, developing and revealing who they are and who they will become. Great photographs of children recognize and celebrate all that is it is to be a child.

Jana, one of our wonderful brides from 2008 has started a business called Arabella & Fern that makes unique puppy and dog products. We took an afternoon to photograph her little furbabies for her new site launching soon. Bella is the pug. Fern the french bulldog.
